We strive to provide an unbiased platform for consumers & editors to vote for their favourite cars, recognising the best rides on the road.

As the operator of Malaysia’s leading automotive portals, iCar Asia is taking the lead to create a fair and transparent platform to recognise the best automotive brands in Malaysia. With a population of more than 30 million, we hope to channel the consumers’ voice to identify the exceptional products every car maker has offered. Each category will be presented with up to five car models for consumers to vote on.

On the other hand, Carlist.my & WapCar also presents the Editors’ Choice Awards to recognise the best cars in the eyes of motoring experts and journalists. The writers and editors will rate the cars accordingly on multiple aspects before tabulating the scores and determining the winners. This voting process is well documented and scrutinised by our internal team of auditors to ensure data accuracy and fair evaluation process.

For the first time ever, iCar Asia is introducing the Brand Activation Campaign Awards to recognise the exceptional marketing effort from advertisers to grow their brands and achieve significant business milestones with us. We hope to showcase their achievement to the business community to inspire other brands to replicate their success.

As this People’s Choice, Editors’ Choice and Brand Activation Campaign Awards are non-profit initiatives, the publishing rights is given to all participating brands and media publications free of charge.

Carlist.my Terms and Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions apply to all contestants of the “Carlist.my People’s Choice Awards – Vote & Win” contest. By submitting your entry for this contest, you will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and be bound by them

  1. This campaign is open to all Malaysian citizens, 18 years of age or above at the time of entry. Employees of iCar Asia Ltd are not eligible to participate in this campaign.
  2. The voting period begins from 11th of October 2023 and ends on 7th of November 2023 at 11.59pm.
  3. To submit an eligible entry for this contest, participants have to vote for all 30 award categories and provide their personal details.
  4. Multiple entries are NOT allowed. Entries submitted before or after the contest period will be disregarded. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
  5. Each participant is only allowed to win 1 prize.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of a similar value at any time without prior notice. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or for any other prizes.
  7. Winners will be determined by valid submissions with the best answers to the question ‘What do you like about Carlist.my?‘ judged by the marketing team of Carlist.my and only winning entrants will be contacted via email or phone, and announced on Carlist.my’s Facebook page.
  8. If a winner cannot be contacted, such prize shall be deemed forfeited by the winner. Prizes shall be collected by winners based on instructions later provided by The Organiser. Prizes not collected within a month from notification date will be forfeited at the Promoter’s discretion.
  9. The Organizer reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency to claim the prize.
  10.  Unless otherwise specified, all ancillary costs are the winner’s responsibility.
  11.  Acceptance of the prize constitutes Carlist.my‘s rights to use the winners’ pictures and particulars for the purposes of advertising, trade and promotion of the contest or otherwise without further compensation, notification to or authorization from the winners.
  12. If this contest is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, the Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the contest, as appropriate, without prior notice.
  13. By submitting your contact details together with your entry in this contest, you will be deemed as having agreed to receiving email newsletters and updates from Carlist.my. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking “Click here to unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email newsletters and updates that we send.
  14. Carlist.my reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to any party.
